Yes, I got a Motorola Droid.  Simply put, it’s freaking awesome!
Pros:

Great Google integration.
Verizon is a good network in my area (YMMV)
The “touch screen” is nearly identical to the iPhone (only “difference” I see is with the “flick scrolling”, it’s not a sensitive as the iPhone).
The “real” keyboard is nice.
It’s thin.
