GoDaddy File Issue

Something to keep in mind if you are ever working with GoDaddy (development work).  If files are not set to the correct permissions, GoDaddy’s servers will return a 404 error, instead of the correct 500 error.  It took me a LONG time to figure that one out, so I’m posting this entry so hopefully it will help out someone.  Also, just an FYI files should be set a 604 and directories should be 704.  Why they return a 404 I will never know.

Also, I should point out that GoDaddy really does suck as a hosting provider in general, and more to the point it REALLY sucks for hosting WordPress.
