Mozy for Mac Experience

I had been using 2 programs for backups. Synk and Mozy, however with the advent of Leopard I have replaced Sync with Time Machine. However, I have become greatly disappointed with Mozy for Mac, and their support department. Mozy for Mac has a major bug, in that it will not update a backup set. What that means is that if you have a folder called /important_files/ and if there are 4 files in it, if you add more, they will not be backed up. Not good. I have contacted Mozy support over the issue, I origionally contacted them on Dec. 5th, responses came every few days. I thought that they were helping, asking for this that and the other. However, I haven’t heard from them since their last response on Dec 10. I sent an email asking for a update several days ago…and nothing.

I’m not sure what I expected, one of their developers asked for help, I offered my services, but I haven’t gotten a response one way or the other. Quite bad customer service all around. Kinda sad. Oh well, I have found a new simple online backup (more in another post).
